INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPANY
TRANS-Pro was established in 1990 as a branch of the commercial company
N.I.A. GmbH, under the name "Nawrath International Arrangements".
Mrs. Andrea Nawrath-Herz has been managing the translation service since
April 1996. She is a graduate translator with a degree (1989) from the
Institute for Translators and Interpreters at the Saarland University in
her main language, Spanish, and second language, French, with law as her
specialized field. She is a member of BDÜ (Association of Interpreters and
Translators), and is a certified translator and interpreter for the Saarland
courts and notaries for the languages Spanish, French and Portuguese.
Our long-term customers appreciate our exact and punctual translations,
which are carried out reliably and correctly exclusively by highly-qualified
and experienced graduated or state-examined translators in their respective
mother tongues in their special fields of knowledge.
The interpreting services required by customers are rendered exclusively by
qualified professional interpreters, who are the people to talk to about all
services related to interpreting.

Besides a perfect domination of the language, the preparation of a
specialized translation requires in particular a profound knowledge of the
respective field. However even translators have to increase their knowledge
constantly. Besides specialized dictionaries and encyclopaedia we possess an
abundant amount of experience and a multilingual terminological data base.
If necessary we can also ressort to external electronic data bases.
For a better understanding of the text we always welcome your internal
company terminology, which includes any existing translations on the same
subject, explanatory technical documents or tools lists. In case you place
an order, we ask you, the customer, to provide us with any useful additional
information, or to name a competent contact person, so that any questions
can be clarified immediately and the highest standard of quality for your
translations can be assured.

Only professional interpreters with conference experience are employed,
and these are the persons responsible for all questions concerning
interpreting services and everything to do with looking after your
international guests.

The costs for our translation services vary according to the level of
difficulty and the language combination. For our customers the price for
the services rendered is very reasonable.
Our calculation is based on
the number of standard lines
of the
text in the target language.
These are counted with the aid of a special count
programme. The standard line has
50 - 55 strokes.
The line price varies
according to the language combination, field, the time limit for the job
and the length of the text. For example a translation from German into
Chinese will cost more than one from English into German, for a business
letter we offer a much lower line price than for highly technical operating
instructions, and for a text which is longer than 100 pages or 2,500 lines
you can always expect a reduction of up to 10% on the total.

course be handled as confidential, we will make a
cost estimate
without any commitment. The more information we have, the easier it is to make a
